Gotta Love the Gorlok
Thursday, February 13, 2014 at 03:12PM The McNeese State University Forensics team started their spring semester of competition at a familiar location, Webster University in St. Louis, MO. The Pokes are no strangers to this tournament, the Gorlok Gala. It was held the weekend of January 23-27 and it was a weekend they won't soon forget.
In Parliamentary Debate, the team of Tobiloba Adasofunjo and Stephen Doerfler II broke to quarterfinals in the novice division.
Senior Davante Lewis advanced to the semifinal round of Extemporaneous Speaking.
The team welcomed new member, freshman Crystal Leday to her first competition.
After an adventurous trip home, the team was ready for a break. Unfortunately, we were unable to attend the Spring TIFA tournament. We wish all of our fellow TIFA schools the best!
