Robert L. Markstrom has been teaching at McNeese State since 1994 and is the Director of Forensics (Speech and Debate Team). Robert received his B.A. in Speech Communication from the University of North Dakota and a M.A. degree in Communication from North Dakota State University. He has taught Introduction to Public Speaking, Small Group Communication, Interpersonal Communication, Parliamentary Procedure, Business and Professional Speaking, Interviewing, Argumentation and Debate, Directing Forensics, and the Forensics Practicum. Robert loves traveling, aviation, and playing games, especially fantasy sports. He took over as Interim Department head in the Fall of 2012.
