As a mere tike Diane wanted to be a teacher. She has taught speech and theatre in Georgia and California. Her primary years were spent in Louisiana, her high school and college years in Alabama, and adult years in California. Her journey to McNeese included brief stints as administrative assistant selling foreign books, as a clerk for a forwarding company, and as a dancing bear for the opening of a grocery store. Guess which one was most memorable—and not necessarily in a good way! Diane spends her down time engaging in good conversation, enjoying good films and theatre, and experiencing as much good Southern food as possible (except crawfish and alligator—blech).
